CultureBoy and Sand SculptureAcapulco

The yearly Sand Sculpture Competition at Papagayo beach, has been taking place since 1974. This competition aims to integrate all levels of the community with at-risk groups in positive and productive activities and recreation. Children, adults and handicapped people are all invited to participate. In March of 1999, a 25th anniversary plaque was unveiled to commemorate this great work.
