The Modelo Museum of Science and Industry (MUMCI) was created at the initiative of Grupo Modelo, Mexico’s leading brewer in the industry, with the aim of providing an educational space “raising awareness within the community and allow your visitors discover the extraordinary from the everyday.”
Located in the Historic Center of Toluca, in front of the Garden Zaragoza it was opened in 2004 after the restoration and renovation of its headquarters, a building dating from the nineteenth century and served as a distributing warehouse for beer.
Rooms and Services of the MUMCI
Spread out over 3 levels the 21 exhibition halls of the MUMCI have innovative multimedia resources that make learning more interactive and fun for the whole family. The subjects covered are related to various industries and sciences. Throughout the year, the MUMCI organizes workshops and temporary exhibitions. It has a multipurpose room and an IMAX ® theater, a library, restaurants and shops.

The MUMCI with IMAX ® screen larger Toluca and Metepec. Capacity for 300 spectators.
